I am Mrs Lucia Olav’s daughter, the widower of the noble knight and lawyer Henrik Klausson Djäkn. My dear husband has been with God already for over twenty years. We lead a good life. We owned several town houses, farms, cattle and many kinds of beautiful artefacts. Indeed I had plenty of worries as the lady of the house. On the other hand, we often held joyful social occasions where we served the guests fine wines and expensive delicacies.
We did have one great sorrow. It was the will of God that we never had any children. Therefore, we decided to consider carefully what was going to happen to our fortune once we were gone. We wanted to be buried in the Holy Chancel of the Turku Cathedral. Furthermore, it was also our wish that mass should be said there in order to save our souls. We have donated our farm in Ailoinen for the brothers and sisters of the monastery in Naantali.
It is the year of grace 1490. I feel very old and tired. I intend to settle in the convent in Naantali to ponder the mundane and eternal life.
